Our client, Check Point Software Solutions (formerly Liquid Machines) wanted to be the first company to extend SharePoint with their own enterprise rights management functionality, and with their own developers busy on the next version of their product, they came to Macadamian.
SOLUTION. SharePoint isn’t really designed to facilitate plug-in development—but that doesn’t really matter to us. Undocumented APIs just make us try harder.
THE END RESULT. When another engineering company might have given up, we didn’t. And now our client has an enterprise rights management plug-in for the SharePoint server. Actually, right now, they’re the only company that has an enterprise rights management plug-in for the SharePoint server. (Can you say ‘market share’?)
