Situation. The Bank of Nova Scotia wanted to help customers with their retirement investment decisions by giving personal banking representatives a tool to instantly calculate the investment required to meet retirement goals. Solution. Macadamian developed a full-featured Java application that performed well on a broad range of PCs, was easy to install, and fit on a single standard diskette.
Benefits. Thousands of people across Canada have used the program to create a retirement investment plan. The application was part of a campaign that successfully encouraged many Canadians to create a financial commitment to their future.
