How to Test Mobile Applications

Users want mobile applications to be simple and fast. Just one nagging bug can spoil the entire experience. And with so much competition in this space, if users don't have an excellent experience with your application, they will switch to a rival product faster than you can say "There's an app for that."

This paper (as seen on StickyMinds.com) highlights some of the areas where the testing of mobile device applications differs from testing desktop and regular Web applications.

Good point, but as long as the revenue and price point of apps in a such a low level Companies will have difficulty providing the same quality as desktop software.

The model is Broken, except for gaming which quality is not such an issue
