Macadamian Technologies wins third consecutive Ottawa Employee’s Choice award

Ottawa, Ontario, November 10, 2008 - Macadamian, a software consultancy that helps companies build products their users love, has been ranked in the top ten employers in Ottawa for the third consecutive time. Sponsored by the Ottawa Business Journal and Talentmap, the Employees’ Choice Awards (ECA) honour those organizations in Canada’s National Capital Region that recognize employees as their greatest asset.
With employee-friendly policies like a company-sponsored long weekend every month, telecommuting, and profit-sharing, Macadamian has a reputation for being one of the best companies to work for in Ottawa.
The Employees’ Choice Award is special because it comes from the feedback of employees themselves, being based on a survey that allows employees to express their opinions of the company’s strengths and weaknesses.
“In the survey, 94 percent of employees said they would recommend the company to someone else.
