It’s predictable – every year product management, R&D, and development teams starting coming together to review product roadmaps and determine what new feature/functionality will help move the innovation yardstick. Macadamian has been fortunate to be invited by many a company to participate in this annual quest. Based on this, over the course of the next three months, we have asked some of our team members to share their insights on differing aspects of the software revitalization process.
To start on October 23rd, Lorraine Chapman and Scott Plewes are hosting a webinar “Effectively Introducing UX into an Organization: A UX Maturity Model”, in which they present a model to help companies quickly identify where they are strong and weak in user experience design.
Next up in November, Scott will take a look at some of the pressures prompting companies’ “drive to revitalize”. In his paper “The Innovation Challenge: Is it About Product Revitalization?” Scott walks through a few key factors that every company must consider in order to successfully reinvigorate their product offering.
For some technical perspective, we turn to Martin Goulet ,Solutions Architect, to discuss the 3 most common software development fallacies associated with taking a product mobile, in his article “Going Mobile ?: 3 Common Development Misconceptions.”
In his blog post, Geoff Parker rounds out the topic by sharing 12 secrets on how best to estimate the costs associated with software development projects.
Finally, our Healthcare experts Anneliis Tosine and Lorraine Chapman discuss what Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendors should be thinking about once they have completed Meaningful Use Summative Testing. They will be hosting a webinar in November that will look at how to leverage the data collected to help elevate the user experience of EHR products.
